For Trade: 1978 Ford Bronco SOLD
I'm getting bored with the old beast and would like to see what the options are.
its a 1978 fullsize bronco. Has a 400, c6, np205. The d44 up front has a trac-loc and the 9" rear has a detroit.
Since getting it, I installed:
* a 4"lift to accommodate 35" bfg mud terrains.
*full soft top as seen in the pictures.
*Kenwood xcelon head unit, pioneer speakers.
*new dash and trim pieces
*custom tool box in the rear, also holds a high-lift jack
*sound deadening and new carpet
*seats from a 96 bronco. (I have new black leather and blue tweed covers to be installed)
*gauges (oil, temp, volt)
*3g alt from a taurus
* accesory fuse block
*dual flowmaster exhaust
many, many more extras! Clean southern door, fender flares, hood lock, hard top, black seat belts...
It does have some drips, but this is a 30yr old bronco!
Needs: after upgrading the front axle recently to bigger ujoints, the new output yoke on the transfercase has to be installed, along with the driveshaft. I have both. Also, some jerk stole the lock hub on the driver's side. I may have a new one on by the time you'd get it.
I've used it as a daily driver/weekend warrior for over 2 years now. Starts every time.
Lets see why you've got to trade. I also have a >100k 95 escort I'd throw in as a daily driver if the trade is worth it. I'd consider: ranger, mustang, crown vic, motorcycles, Jeeps, newer bronco, broncoII, merkur xr4ti, thunderbird, dsm's, or a subaru of some kind.

I have a 1997 Explorer. 5.0, headers, MSD coils, New locker rear, 4:56 gears, clean inside and out. Runs great, daily driver. Just put in a motor that has 106,000 on it when I got it so plenty of new stuff from installing that. 33" BFG A/T Duel 2 1/2 Magnaflow exhaust, 15mpg. Custom front Bumper and support frame for that. Did a body swap from Kentucky explorer a year ago, clean underneath and undercoated before the body was put back on. Needs nothing!
