Default no spark 304 help

Hi, I'm having a problem with my 304 it has no spark I replaced coil pack and has power going to it. but doesnt come out to the distributor(also replace the cap and rotor on the distributor) also replaced the modular.. Thanks for any help 81 cj7 304 no points in distributor

The pick-up coil would be under the rotor. Can you take off the cap and post some pics of whats under there? The AMC stuff usually came with points and most of that stuff has been converted to some degree.

alittle hammered right now but i had this problem with my 304 and it i was a ground wire. I dont have the connector you do but one of the wires running to the distributor had a direct ground to the battery it was tied into two hot wires that ran to the distributor. I could be way off but id double check your grounds.

Check the solenoid yet? The 2 small studs.
X2 on a bad ground. One grounds the motor to the frame and the other from the motor to the firewall. I just went thru this on a YJ.

thanks I'll check that out to. I just dont understand why i have power to the coil but it doent come out the coil but at this point I'll undo and redo cant hurt any more.
