Talking Shirt style question

Cuff links, french cuffs, or both?
Irregardless of what you may think which would you prefer? Casual setting ok?

I think you could totally pull off french cuffs with some simple cuff links.... But I don't think many people on this board own shirts with sleeves

Are they flannel? Or do they say Carhartt on the pocket?

IMO, a French Cuff shirt is a bit too dressy for a casual setting. Especially if you're planning to wear it without a blazer or suit.

French cuff is NOT too dressy for casual.
Just do not tuck in.
I will often do this wih jeans and NOT cuff the shirt sleeves.

Usage Note: Irregardless is a word that many mistakenly believe to be correct usage in formal style, when in fact it is used chiefly in nonstandard speech or casual writing. Coined in the United States in the early 20th century, it has met with a blizzard of condemnation for being an improper yoking of irrespective and regardless and for the logical absurdity of combining the negative ir- prefix and -less suffix in a single term. Although one might reasonably argue that it is no different from words with redundant affixes like debone and unravel, it has been considered a blunder for decades and will probably continue to be so.

I usually only wear my french cuff shirts with camo shorts. Assisting with the sweet look is pair of 70's white knee socks topped off with some addidas sandals.

Truth. French cuff is the way to go. You can easily wear jeans, nice flip flops and an untucked shirt with a french cuff with links to dress it up. You are still casual, but very put together.

cuff links only. french cuffs are gay heterosexual men who have penis envy. not to mention 1980's. if the event is in canada by all means wear the french cuffs. otherwise steer clear.

Check out www.bestcustomshirt.com for some custom made shirts for decent prices. I have had really good luck with their shirts and they are very good quality. They run specials all the time like buy 4 get one free, etc... You just need to get measured accurately and they send you the first shirt to make sure it fits before making the rest of your order.

L-O-FUCKING-L

French cuff is okay in a casual setting as long as these are your cufflinks. They say I'm here for business, but I'm ready to fucking party.
