your best bet is to stick to the parks mentioned or go home on probation. Like easy step Michigan is hungry for money and dnr will hand out tickets freely.

I haven't been to R&V or the other parks up north other than Silver Lake. But Bundy Hill has quite a bit of variation and fun.
here's their website and there are a bunch of camp grounds in the area, just make sure you aren't planning on being in the area on MIS race weekend as the same camp site will go for MUCH more then usual.

On both of these, they have camping. Also make sure u check out sliver lake dunes.

thanks everyone usually i goto the cliffs/badlands. so state parks in MI are just like scenic routes only... oh well i'll have to find the next closest park to my house or get a hotel somewhere and make it a couple day trip...

rocks and valleys will give you some exciting times, great folks, and great park, it's like a big family up there, there is always help nearby and the rangers will show you the trails
