Default Dakota torsion bars

I have a 2000 dodge dakota that i cranked the torsion bars i didnt get a perfect measurement but i would say it lifted it about 2". I found on ebay they sell torsion bar keys for a front leveling kit that say they will lift the front 2-3". If i get these keys will it lift the truck anymore than cranking them already has?
Thanks ahead of time.

no it will not it does the same thing as when u crank them you should only go 8 turn witch is 2 " any more would make to much stress on the bar youll start breaking things
if you wanna lift the back just buy the beltech 6400 shackels and install thoes the are fora full size chevy and are a drop for them

Is the Durango and Dakota have the same leaf spring suspension? I see that the Durango Guys are using the Shackle kit, but didn't look like anyone with Dakotas were doing the shackle. Is it true that the belltech 6400 will raise the rear 2" of a Dakota? or just a Durango?

Thanks for the help

They won't give you any lift, on your Dakota.

As stated, Durango springs are mounted underneath the axle. Whereas, they are on top of the axle on a Dakota

Your options are blocks, add-a-leaf, or possibly re-arched springs.
