SOLD 2004 saab 9-3.. Feeler
I'm getting ready to buy a new Ford fusion and my dealer is not too keen on taking my car as a trade in due to the 180,000 miles. The car is a strong runner. I have nothing to hide about the car. Also if I order the car i cant get rid of mine until i get delivery of my new one.
Things I know about the Saab
Starts up every time. The only time it did not was when i moved it 10 feet to let a friend move his car and it took a good crank to get it started. This happened 1 time in 6 years.
As i stated above its a good runner all hwy miles. It runs real strong and IMO its really quick for a four banger.
According to the computer i get an average of 28 mpg. I agree with that totally.
Ive always used premium gas, changed the plugs every 60k and 0-w40 every 10k.
The only things that has broke on the car was a bad hub bearing, blower motor and one of the front springs. All has either been replaced or covered by warranty.
The air is cold and the heated seats are hot.
The exterior has no rust. It did have rust around the front fender but it was fixed under its 10 year warranty.
It does have a small oil leak. In winter it was noticeable but now in warmer days i have not seen it. Go Fig. The leak is so minor i just drove it that way and added oil when i needed it. 1 quart every month or so.
The CD player broke but i always listen to the radio.
I was looking to get about $3500 for the car but anything over what the dealer is offering is fine. I'm going between 3 dealers right now looking for the best trade in without bumping the cost of the car up.
If u want pictures it dirty right now but i can get them.
If you think im crazy and i should take what the dealer gives me im open to that opinion as well.
