Default Parting out '90 Grand Wagoneer (runs good...NOW WITH PICS)

I'm picking up a good running (but w/semi-rough body) '90 Grand Wagoneer (142,9XX miles, IIRC) tonight. It's a 360 auto, and it runs really smooth. It's driveable up to about 30 mph, but it has a broken front leaf spring on the driver's side. That's fast enough to validate that everything works properly.

I bought this to get the driver-drop non-disco Dana 44 front axle for my CJ-10a (doing a 4WD conversion).

I'll be parting out the rest of the Grand Wagoneer as people need parts. Here are some prices for some of the bigger items:
  • Good-running 360 V-8 - 142,9XX miles, smokes just a little when started, complete w/all accessories, $275 ***SOLD***
  • Centered D44 rear axle - ***SOLD***
  • TF727 transmission - 142,9XX miles, works well, $150 (cheaper if you buy the t-case, too) ***SOLD***
  • NP-229 transfer case - $100 (cheaper if you buy the trans, too) ***SOLD***
  • A/C setup - Blows cold & works well, $100 for everything minus the A/C compressor (which will stay with the motor)
  • Interior items - Tan leather in decent shape, inquire for specific items.

I'm not in a big hurry to sell this stuff (busy with house projects & the CJ-10a at the moment). Feel free to make offers on anything from this vehicle, but if they're stupid-low offers, I'll probably just ignore you. :tonka: I'm not really interested in trades (just cash), unless you have weird/rare Jeep parts to offer (I'm a sucker for Scrambler stuff, as well as "off the beaten path" Jeep parts). I don't plan on bumping this post a dozen+ times, and will probably list anything that isn't sold on eBay in the next 4-8 weeks.

Thanks,
Craig

Off the beaten path? Since I know how much you like pizza cutter tires, I'll trade you my Gladiator 16" 5x5.5 rims with 33" (I think) rollers that can be driven on for that 727.

Pics and/or more info? Gladiator, as in the Jeep truck? I'm probably not interested, but would at least like more info. I assume the tires have ~5% tread left, right? :tonka:

Shoot me a PM or e-mail, Mark. Thanks.

Craig

Yes, they have more than 5% tread. Yes, as in Jeep Truck. Those are the only Jeeps I have found these on (these are the second set I have found). I suppose its possible that they were available on older Waggies as well. They look exactly like the old CJ solid-face painted rims that you like, but are 16" in diameter.

Is the a Dana 60-2 attached to those? It sounds like something I'd like, but I really don't have a use for them, unfortunately.

I have not seen them on D60-2's yet. With the other set I had the whole truck and it had D44's f/r, but it also had coil-over shocks in addition to the leafs. It was like some kind of heavy half-ton 67 with the Tornado OHC. I have a number of pics of it.

Spro... if Craig doesnt want the wheels/tires let me know... I was looking for 33" pizza cutters to throw under the 2A... DO they look similar to the old solid face 2A wheel? I cannot picture them.

bigblocked - PM'd you back about the motor, and left you a voicemail, as well. Actual mileage is 142,9XX (a little less than I thought), and the motor is still available. I just got it home last night, and as I mentioned, it runs very smooth. Call me when you can.

PavementPounder - PM'd you...give me a call Wednesday about the trans.

jeepfreak81 - PP's wheels/tires are all yours if you want 'em.

Thanks,
Craig

If the rear is centered and widetrack ( I would assume ) then I would be interested if the other party happened to back out.

Daryl - The rear is a centered, narrow-track (not wide-track) Dana 44.

Think you're going to have to look to J-series and SJ Cherokee for that. Waggies didn't use those.

The offset rear I pulled from a 79 j-10 is almost 65" wide (not 63" like most say.) At that width I may be able to find some chevy stuff the right width (or close my ffont is 65") instead of trying to track down a centered 44 from a j-truck. I wouse assume a large percentage of those came with quadrajunk, because all I ever see is offset stuff

Sorry to hijack.

Craig,
I'm interested in the headliner if it's not saggy, possibly a few other items including the 229 t-case.

Let me know.

SALE PENDING on 360 V-8 motor (complete)

Scott - I'll get some interior pics tonight. I think the headliner may be sagging, but I'll take a closer look. Call me to discuss some of the other stuff you're looking for.

Thanks,
Craig

Will do, Don (although removing the rear windows might be a real PITA). I took pics of the Jeep last night, and will be uploading them tonight.
