Shit.

I have something here that would've cost a bit more than the lumber, but would've been removable and wouldn't get you laughed out of...well...wherever you take that thing now.

Shame, really.

That's the door chime now when he leaves the door open and the ignition on.

I'm going to cover the top bars with some outdoor carpet to clean it up a bit and stain it with some deck stain. What's wrong with a wooden rack? Plus it is removable, There isn't anything holding it to the truck, it can pull right out.

Classy. Are the wheels and tires on your Dakota interchangeable with the ones on your home?

Yeah, I guess we can't all be awesome and have street glowz...

fits with the bike perfectly. :) I can't believe the amount of pussies on this site who favor form over function.
It's a beat up pickup truck, it's supposed to do work, not turn heads.

I get a ton of compliments on my jeep and my recently installed rock lights (we actually have rocks down near stl where I work). I'm sure the majority of the mud bogging sister fucking morons will compliment your "work truck"

That is your opinion, thank you ever so much for your input. I think it looks fine. I will think it looks really fine when I use it to haul 3 kayaks and a dirtbike when we go camping. I will think it looks great sitting in my garage housing the kayaks, when not in use. By the way, I think street glowz look like shit, but I'm sure the Street Jeepz crowd loves them. To each their own.

I don't see why you guys are giving him a Hard time. I mean, Besides the fact that he's Sova. It really is a simple fix for a problem. He just happened to use an "out of the box" idea instead of conforming to what you guys think is 'cool'. It works.

Should've gone out to your fab show and welded up a custom polished aluminum rack. With all of the welding and metal forming equipment I'm sure you have in your pole barn it'll only take a couple hours.

While I don't have all that stuff, it sounds like everyone else does.

Building a wood kayak rack = redneck, but putting Taurus fans, Explorer axles, and chevy engines in Jeeps = creative problem solving. Hmmmmmm.

Oh, and Sova is a pinko commie regrdless. ;)

My fatass neighbor has the same extended cab green dakota with a similar wooden kayak rack on it, but he used less trees doing it.

He's a cheap fukc . He openly admits it.
