Default Government Health Care

Does anybody think that the government running our health care would make it better? or worse?

better and worse.

Better: People that need health care and don't have it will benefit the most. While I believe health care is a privilege, not a right, it will change many peoples' lives for the positive.

Worse: The government can't manage itself, let alone a new national healthcare system. I predict to get the same level of healthcare I have now, I will have to pay a premium, as it will be equal to a premium service compared to the public system that is coming.

Our medical infrastructure is not ready to cope with the masses; uninsured people do not get routine checkups or see a doctor when they are moderately sick - they will tough it out and usually as a last resort, visit the emergency room of a hospital.
Think for a minute - if the population has free access to healthcare, everyone will be able to take advantage of checkups, preventative medicine, so on, so forth.

This will overload the healthcare resources we have immediately. We will end up with long lines to see a doctor or have to schedule months in advance (which many won't - they'll just walk in). To get access to healthcare like before, the people that can afford it will be forced to pay to go to clinics that will open to take advantage of the congestion - and charge appropriately. ($$$)

Also, medical staff will be overworked and who knows where we will get all the doctors needed to treat everyone. Quality of treatment will suffer and the general attitude of the medical staff will be that you are lucky for their care and should bow and scrape accordingly. (this is how it is like in England - I have a coworker that was born and raised there and has many horror stories of visiting the doctor)

I gess you could say that I'm not looking forward to it.

A friend of mine - his father went for a check up (in canada) the doctor found a small quarter size spot on the lower portion of his lung. They told him to come back to see a speicalist to take a sample. He had to wait 4 months, by that time the quarter size spot had grown to a quarter of his lung. He was told that they would need to remove the lower portion of his lung. Again another two months and he was on the table for the operation, the removed his whole left lung.
Then they talk about chemo, another 4 weeks go by before he sees anybody. He gets an appointment to see somebody and the tell him that they will need to stage the cancer
He comes back two weeks later and they stage him at STAGE THREE after the surgery. But they tell him now they will begin a 14 week chemo session.
The health care in Canada.... well lets say you have to wait for anything important. People die before they get medical attention and if we get that here.. the same is in store for us

Scooter is super smart.
I have good health care, and I pay a lot of money for it. I don't want to see people dying in the streets but at the same time why should I pay for other people's health care. I already pay for one moocher

Gov't running anything means less efficient and more expensive for those who work.

Well Obama said he was going to spead the wealth, but to who? We will all be paying in higher taxes for this new health care plan. Besides I believe there is something in the constituion about the government not to be involved in health care.
We need to call on our congressmen to tell them we do not agree with this plan that obama has to fix things, starting with health care

I can never get mine on the phone. When I write with a concern, I get a form letter back thanking me for my supporting them.

like that will work (they dont give a fukc ), they only care about getting elected/re-elected by the majority. The people who are the majority are the fuckwad dumbfucks, that is how/why liberals get elected, promissing the world to the poor/lazy/shitstains and to fukc the hardworking.

"I dont have to worry bout payin my heat bills or my gas bills Obama gonna take care of dat shit fo me."

Yay for Obama!

the government will enact the poorly planned health care "reform", millions will flood to the doctor because they now have health care. doctors will be billing like crazy and the government will now realize that all it did was open an already gushing wound, they will have to come up with a plan to pay for all the spics and sand fleas medical attention so they will tell most over 65 "sorry you're just going to have to die" and those of us younger and working will have to pony up major cash to make sure those who don't speak english are well cared for.

I have said it before

The big clue, the don't want it for themselves, but are willing to ram it down our throats.

I challenge anyone to prove to me that it will be better when run by the government.

It will lead to high taxes, high cost, and rationed care.

Not to mention that person A will now be responsible to pay for the healthcare of person B at he point of a gun held by the gov't. We have a word for that, it's called slavery also known as involuntary servitude.

If the healthcare bill passes and is signed it will lead to the end of this country as we know it. Who will bailout the federal gov't when they run out of money? CBO numbers put this bill at 1.5 trillion dollars over ten years and something like 230 billion every year after that. Even at that incredible rate 17 million of the 45 million would still not have coverage.

If you know anything about CBO estimates, they always lean to the low side, so them saying 1.5 trillion means it will be more like 2 trillion or more and that's just to get it up to speed. How much will it cost when it's running at full speed? How long till the gov't brand forces private insurance out of business? Not to mention the amount of people that will lose their jobs as a result.

This isn't about providing health care to all Americans. It's about controling all Americans and buying votes. It's about power.

Have a look at this chart and tell me how great and affordable it will be........

People of other countries in the world come here to have thier serious medical conditions cared for because it is the best in the world. I do not understand how obama and his zars think that socilized health care is good. I'm sure that they have seen what has happened in other countries because of socilized medicine.
