Default detroit and slugs in front

i am upgrading to 35 spline stubs and drive slugs in my front hi pinoin d60.
it has full hydro steer. its 5.38 with a detroit.

think i will be barking front tires around a corner??
or will it unlock when there is no driveshaft input(rear drive only)?
i had a detroit in the rear and it would unlock when coasting around a corner.
i had a ezlocker in front it was unlocked till it got input from the driveshaft.

it will never see any real street time. i will be able to turn with hydro steering.

any thoughts?

not if you put it in 2hi or 2lo. but if you leave it in 4wd, then yes.

in theory the detroit shouldnt lock up unless its being driven (i.e. tcase in 4wd)

Even in 4wd, it shouldn't bark unless you are on the throttle, if you coast around corners it will just click.

Yep, because the front is traveling around a larger radius than the rear and teh rear would be overdriving the front so the front would be coasting so the outside tire should be free'd up. But that's in theory and who knows what the Cf's would have to be in order to make that ideal case happen.

Run it. That's the same setup I'll be running, I dont foresee any issues.
