Default Dogs to a good home!

Contact Denise at dlukacs5@netzero.com for more info.

Here is a link to Sam & Baily if you know of anyone, I would so appreciate it if you could pass it on. Thank you again!!!

I've put some of the pictures online. Please direct people to

http://www.hvsc.org/dogs/.

Bailey is a 5.5-year-old, roughly 50 lbs., beautiful German Shepherd/Whippet mix
(think whippet body with a German shepherd head). She is full of energy, excellent
with other dogs, and good with kids. She is extremely tolerant of our 1.5 year
old son lying all over her or playing with her ears. Bailey is a daddy's girl,
so to speak, in that she would stand on her head if she knew it would please me.
She is initially wary of other men until she gets to know them. Bailey has a
strong bark but she has never bit anyone. Her bark has scared a number of UPS drivers who come knocking when only my wife is home. Bailey absolutely loves to wrestle and play with people or other dogs. She is very graceful and loves big yards with enough room to run.

Sammy is a 5-year-old, roughly 50 lbs., handsome Golden Retriever/Chow mix. His
personality is a little less outgoing than Bailey's but he loves to snuggle and
have his belly rubbed. He isn't so much into wrestling, at least not with
Bailey and I. Sammy would rather wrestle with other dogs. He was abandoned
with he was very young along with his two sisters and has always been skittish
of loud noises. Sammy absolutely loves to ride in a car with his head out the
window if given the chance. He has proved very tolerant of our son as well, yet
Sammy takes awhile to warm up to puppies. Bailey surely plays the "mom" roll
when around puppies whereas Sammy would rather no be bothered. Like Bailey,
Sammy is all bark and no bite. He is usually the first one to let us know when
he hears the slam of a car door he does not recognize. Both dogs love to go for
walks but Sammy is most happy jogging along side you. Bailey would rather
pull you along if you try to jog with her. She just loves to run. Both dogs love to swim.

Overall, they are wonderful dogs and we have received many compliments on their
behavior and temperament.
