BMW E30 project....

I've got two BMW E30's that I need out of the garage.
One is an 88 325IS. The other an 89325I.

The 88 is a two door the 89 a sedan. They both run well. The 88 needs fenders as they were trashed to build flares. The 89 has two good fenders in primer on it. The 88 is ABSOLUTELY RUST FREE...Including under the car.
The 89 has the newer bumpers on it, which look nicer and can swap directly to the 88.
The 88 has around 130,000 original miles which is VERY low for these cars. Also it was an auto so it lived an easy life. I'm only the third owner.

The 88 needs the transmission put in. It was an automatic. The automatic is out, and the clutch pedal assymbly is in the car. The manual you need is in the 89.

I also have a bunch of parts. Short shifter, chip, books, probably some other stuff.....

I'm not going to give an OBO price. I'll save us both some hassle. I want 1500 FIRM for both.

IF you are genuinely interested I'll get pictures.

To clarify, you get and take BOTH cars for that price. The 88 only needs the transmission put in along with a new clutch. These are fun little cars, handle great etc.

Some stuff to address. In the engine compartment the air box is off. I have one, that is in good condition....
I double checked the mileage and it's 139,000.
Timing belt was changed about 12,000 miles ago.

Many things have been changed on the car, mostly probably seems dumb to most people.
The power window regs were sold and replaced with manual window regulators and handles. To complete the swap I have an Excellent center console. This console doesn't have holes for the window switches......This is a very rare console, and the manual cranks are rare as well.

The in dash computer display and all of it's wireing was removed. No hacking or anything like it sounds. It is it's own harness that plugs in/out. The HVAC panel that houses the dash display was replaced with a rare Euro hvac panel from a 316i (which wasn't even available in the US)

Also removed the A/C, and Cruise control units, trunk tar, exhuast heat shields, all of the sound system, and some other minor things to reduce weight. That is why the car sits so high.

The parts car not pictured has A/C and Cruise should you want to add those back on.

The leather seats were sold, and I have vinyl seats for it. The goal was to save weight. I have one Corbeau FX1 seat in great condition that I could throw in. The plan was two Corbeau seats in front and the vinyl back seat.

Hi, are these cars still for sale? If so, how far from Sturgis is Northville?
Thanks.

About 2.5 hours. You come and buy em both within the week and I'll let em' go for 1200 for the both. This is a one week deal though.

The IS when finished is about 5K car....

Bump
$1,000 for both.

This is the parts car. You need the 5sp, front fenders and bumpers off it for the other car.
