where is the best place to buy new torsion bars and leaves for the burb?? i need to pick up new stock bars and some 3/4ton leaves for it

i would probily say any car parts store. the leaves you can order from liek summit or jc whitney maybe even te torsion bars to.

do you have a spring shop local to you??? If so that is where I would get the parts.

Check out Beattie Spring.. they always are helpfull... Look em up in the FLint phone book. about a 30 min frive from fenton though..

Eaton Spring on Michigan Ave in Detroit 313-963-3839 they can make you a custom set of leafs.

Eaton is cool cause they can do really hard to find leaves but man are they EXPENSIVE. Wanted 900 for a set of stock springs for my commando..

John R spring re arched my old ones for 25 bucks each and had em ready the next day. Not much more you can ask for.

For new tbars go with Rancho, they have some with a higher spring rate (GK or GL) but they also stiffen the ride.
