Question Trailer newb question

So, pro'ly a stupid question, but how can you tell if your trailer's fenders are "drive over"? I picked up a used car hauler, 22' with a 2' dove, and it has fenders which SEEM really strong. They have a brace underneath at a 45deg angle and a small piece of diamond plate on top. Just don't feel like crushing the fenders on my new trailer if it's not this type. Thanks in advance.

It's just a matter of how strong they are. The weight of your CJ will only be on them for a couple seconds as your loading so with what you say it sounds like you could drive over them. Give it a shot and see. lol

From the ones I've seen if they aren't the cheap ass stamped steel ones, you can drive over them.
