Religion serves its purpose, it keeps the simple minded sheep behaving themselves. People who insist there is no god and throw fits are just as crazy as the people who insist there is one.

I've met some pretty out there, Cracked up Atheists. Not many Crazy Christians, just people that believe in something that they can't see. That have an eternal Perspective. That's all. As Ive said many times, We're just like everybody else, we just believe in something more.

Since they are the ones going to the courts to get the pledge removed from anyplace that has anything to do or say about God. They have an agenda, it is to remove the word of God from society, from our money, from our courts, from our schools, to remove the site of crosses from anyplace visible and the nativity from the view of anybody that can see it.
Its like the gay agenda also, to be seen everywhere like there is no problem.

And Christians have never done anything to hurt people that don't have the same beliefs as their own?

Atheists only share one thing in common, a lack of a belief in a god. There are crazy, sane, republican, democratic, independent, conservative, and liberal atheists. There isn't really an atheist platform. Some rail for church/state separation, like Michael Newdow. I am also for church/state separation, but unlike Newdow, I think there are much more pressing issues than saying god in the pledge of allegiance or having it on our money.

So should I go find a church going person who killed an abortion doctor then state that "ALL CHRISTIANS ARE MURDERERS"

That is the same thing that this thread is doing.

There have been horrible things done in the past, but in present day I don't think you will find any that Christians are responsible for.
With Islam you will see that even now they are still killing Christians for their belief. In Algeria a few days ago Muslim men went on a killing spree beheading and chopping up more than 500 men women and children all in the name of ALLAH.

I'm willing to bet more people have died because of religion and the conflicts between them than all other issues combined. Religion kills people.
