Just checked it out and it is very nice but a little pricey for what it is. I would give $10K for it though.

ive never been a fan of dodges overall. i grew up ford and will always be. stay away from a 6.0 unless you want to leave it parked for a while. i really dont know alot about the 6.4 other than they scream. i like the 7.3 there reliable, and make good power. if i want to go fast ill buy a mustang or hayabusa. i mean yes its fun to have a truck that will stomp all over cars but its still a truck. id like a nice crew cab long box on maby 38s with a 5 speed. to me thats about the cats meow.

I found a Fummins.

Waiting to hear back from the guy.

The turbos are junk though, the lower one went out and took out the upper one but did not get passed the charged air cooler supposedly. This is on a rebuilt 12v that was bored .060 over.

Any diesel guys be able and willing to check it out with me. I can pay you for your time. It is in Lansing.

Yes it is the black one and I am worried about it having more wrong with it too but in these times there are great deals out there. I missed out on one last week because the shop owner outbid me.

yep 15...too much. i added a couple more. i have found 3 others, real low miles, but i wanna stay around 8 to 10..seems like real nice with low miles are 12 to 15. 150 k or more miles are 6 to 10. seems like it is better to get one over 100k miles with a rebuilt tranny, new injecters and the little stuff fixed and updated.
that crew your looking at is nice but the motor work scares me.

This truck?

http://www.greatlakes4x4.com/showthr...t=ford+cummins

I saw the pics before they were removed and it looked nice, but the blown turbo is kinda iffy. It could be as simple as just replacing the turbo, but if any shrapnel made it into the engine, you could be in for big problems. I see where he mentioned that no shavings made it past the intercooler, but you'd really have to make sure.

The truck I missed out on last week was a 2003 Silverado crew cab with a duramax for $4000, new injectors at 142,000 and it had 164,000 on it. It needed some collision work but was a great deal.
