Default lincoln weld pak 3200

just picked up a used lincoln weld pac 3200 today with the argon tank and regulator. any one have any experience with one? good welder, bad welder?

Never had bad luck with a Lincoln yet except the old as hell POS one at work. But even that one has a good day here and there. Your going to want argon and Co2 thought for regular welding. C25 gas is standard 100% argon is for tig and aluminum mig welding.

They are decent machines for thinner material. 1/4" is about the thickest you want to weld with it. You do need to get an argon / CO2 mix. 100% argon and MIG won't work at all. Either that or a self-shielded wire. Don't forget to switch polarity if you go with flux-cored.
