How's it going? Just bought a 1988 Cherokee Laredo 2 door Inline 6 cyl 5 speed manual.

Bought it for 2,400. It's from down south and has virtually no rust.

Hope to start beefing it up within the next month.
Anything I should do first?

My friends dad has a set of the wrangler aluminum "10 hole" design 15x7 rims, does anyone use these with their off road tires? Worth buying off him?

Welcome.
You might wanna start with a small lift and some 31" tires this can be done very low buck and you could get a feel for what direction you wanna go with your build.

What the best-cheapest way to do my first simple lift? Best bang for my buck. I'm open to junk yard searches if your ideas take me there.
Any opinion on those rims i was talking about?
