Default All the hard to find parts in one website *Funny*

Found this website that has all those ridiculous parts pranks mechanics always pull on their non mechanic friends like muffler bearings and left handed metric screwdrivers ect. Made me laugh for quite a while figured I would share it with the forum.

Yeah I've been to that site a few times for laughs. I work at an auto parts store and I'm seriously waiting for that one person to come up asking if we have muffler bearings in stock. I don't think I can be a dick to customers but I'll point them to that site.

I've taken friends into the parts store with a list of things they needed to get and the parts guy actually went with the joke once he read the list. I think it went on for 20 minutes or so before neither one of us couldn't help but laugh.

WOW what a retard. I test the new people to see if they actually know what they are doing or just got the job for a paycheck. If they go looking for crap like that then they usually get fired on the spot. I spend more money than some businesses that buy parts from there so I kinda have some authority

I wouldn't doubt some asshat somewhere wanted to make that joke a reality, but I seriously would hate it if a customer came in actually wanting those. I wouldn't know what to say.
It's already bad enough when I get people that want a part that pretty much has to be ordered online someplace.

yeah at the dealer I work at they get all the new lot boys with stuff like that. Last week they got one with a can of steam. He couldnt find any so they sent him to parts to order some. So the parts guy went along with it and ordered some up. Later that afternoon he taped a piece of paper over a can of cleaner that said Industrial Strength Steam. The kid wondered why it was a paper label and they told him the use recycled cans. The funny part is he still believes it. All of that brought up stories from years ago. Like a lot stretcher for when they run out of room for cars.
