I went on Friday night looking for ideas for my '68 Charger. I was pissed to find that there was not one genII Charger (68-70) in the whole building. I found a '67 but it was stock and they are completely different. I was excited that the SuperCuda was there tho, I took lots of pics of that car.

The ranger is a friend of mine the only thing hack about the lift is he hasn't done the body lift on the bed yet. He only did the BL on the cab to fit the 302 and hasn't had time to do the bed yet.

I really liked the showcar Jeep that was up front, that was the first time ive seen a Jeep done with so much attention to detail.

I too was disappointed in the show, but still had a good time, saw some neat stuff, and some of the same stuff, mainly went to support a friend showing his car for the first time. Satin black '59 Ford sedan gasser with uber-metallic green accents, downstairs near the band. The car got lots of attention from other exhibitors, but I don't think the general public noticed it much, so many of the mods are so subtle that you almost have to own one like it to tell what had been done.

The "Warrior" MB was certainly not my style, but the attention to detail was amazing and the build quality top notch...gold stars on the chromed ball-joints...sheesh, intense to say the least, I'd love to be the guy that sells that guy chrome polish...it would be a career account.

I think i saw your friends car, had the big wide green sparkly design on the hood, and some other green 2 inch (?) pinstriping down the sides.. had the hood opened so that was the main thing that was noticed was the paint job on the hood..Nice car.. guess i didnt notice much else about it besides the paint.

We went, not that impressed this year, and we go every year. My dad wanted to go since he knows all the old guys from the original Ramchargers drag team and they were there signing stuff. He actually did the printing for some of their stuff. Pretty cool listening to them talk about changes they were making to the hemis to make em go faster.

yeah i was pretty diapointed going this year. the only thing i really seen that stood out was the ranger and that was something im used to seeing right next to me. i love old school rat rods but it seems like that was the whole show this year..

i have several close friends on the board for autorama. I have inquired for the last few years to get a real world 4x section down in the basement. they have the tuners, rats, and other clubs, why not a section for the wheelers. I just discussed this with them a few weeks ago.

rama has a ton of problems right now. normally I am down there for setups but not this year.
