Autorama; Anyone else go yet?

I thought it kinda sucked this year. It seemed like there was less cars than past years and looked to be the same vehicles that I saw there before. At least it was a time killer.

It has always been like that but I bet this year it wasn't as special. Like the autoshow was very tame compared to previous years.

I attended on Saturday.
Lots of 71 Cuda's, happy to see that.
I have one I am restoring.

Not much in the way of 4x4's, too many shit drag cars.
Basement was ok to see rat rods, but I have no use for rice burners, what a bunch of scrap metal.

this was the 1st yr i went and i was expecting more.. It seemed like i was walking around the pits at Milan for most of the show.. there were a hand full of nicely done custom rides there mostly towards the front.. im not saying the others were junk but it just seemed blah.. we forgot all about the basement so we didnt go see the stuff down there..

You didnt miss much in the basement, there was very little down there compaired to previous years. I couldnt believe how many Camaros were there, and how little 4x4's or trucks made it.

I thought the show was OK, I mean it's winter and there are no other shows! I will agree that the show was seriously lacking from years compaired! I was happy to find a sweet deal on a 4 core TJ fit raditior for a small block for 250 new...

Best first post ever.

I didn't get a chance to go this year, since I had to attend the wildly kick ass Michigan Pharmacist's Association show at the Ren Cen instead. Oh yeah, them guys sure know how to party.

Definitely downscaled. I went 2 years ago and had heard from a few people last year that many people wouldn't come back because of the leaking roof. A lot of the cars had been there before. We went down the escalator to the basement then went right back up. Nothin too exciting in the rat rod collection.

I take it you're not a fan of said lifted Ford Ranger? Not to mention it was done by a high school AND they actually wheeled it. Where was your overkill decked out F250 on 24's on the floor?

The ranger did look a little hacked, but I would still do it and I would still wheel it. Not too bad especially if it was done by High school kids.

I enjoyed seeing more old mopars this year. Don't get me wrong I love them all, but you don't see nearly as many old mopars as you do mustangs and camaros.

Nope, at least 2 4x4's. They had a nice 60's Bronco too.

Actually at least 4, they had two 60's broncos, a hummer downstairs, and the ford. And a 6x6 corn picker
