So two can play this game. I'm just going to start calling HR and reporting them for everything they do wrong. Like when they ask to leave early, or continuely call in or ask to go home early etc.

And my main point is if no one tells me what I'm doing "wrong" how can I make a change? Pretty retarded if you ask me. Just like them thinking I can change some assholes perception of me in a week, especially if that person doesn't like me from the start.
Wow, another member who asks for advice & then decides not to listen.

Bravo.

i had something similar to this and my manager came to me and told me that they were going to have to write me up and that there would be an investigation. i had the next few days off to clear my head and i went back in to work an hour early and told my manager that i wasnt going to sign anthing other than my paycheck and that if she didnt take care of the issue that i was going to go over her head to are DM who i got along with great. in the end my manager quite a couple month later and the girl that started it all had her hours cut down to 4.5 hour a week.

so long story short the people above you know what going wrong and hate to be undermined. so if left them know that you are not going to allow them to walk all over you they will most likely take care of the problem.

I hope your "two can play at this game" works out for you. Way to fuel the fire that gets you FIRED. You'll probably need this in the near future.

Okay, in seriousness though, I've been in a position like that before. The type of position where hard work isn't rewarded and the best employees are the ones that kiss the most ass. Granted this was like 8 years ago but you don't forget shit like that. I ended up quitting the job, and as much as I wanted to just tell off my manager(s) and bust ass out of there, I left with some dignity and actually put in my 2 weeks.

I would imagine if they have concrete evidence saying you are being unproductive they would have to show it to you, else it is all heresay.
i agree nothing gets results like vigalanty justice...burn em to tha ground

You must work for a shitty company.

I caught the CEO of my last employer on fire and I didn't even get written up.

He just said in a meeting like last week or something he was going through his closet and realized he still had the tie.

No.... and in fact hacksaw never once during his years at MA caused me to be on the end of a red hot poker aka nonconformity..
My troublesome employees have never been men. It pains me to say that as a woman but it's true.

It is true that Michigan is an at-will state, but it is not true that employers can fire you for no reason. The Equal Oppotuntiy Employer laws against firing without warnings ...but it sounds like in this case, the company is covering those bases.

Good luck to you...look for another job and learn what you can from this one.

I am already familar with UIA, as I get it as well as a paycheck.

And I'm not the only one who is fed up with the BS.

There have been a couple other co workers that have been calling HR and these particular girls for a little bit now and I just found out about it.

Say what you want but I dont let people walk all over me.

I think I got all the useful advice off the first page or 2 so this thread can be locked now ;)
