Default Miami Vice 38KV Scarab

I saw this on another forum and thought it was cool. 1996 Lake Michigan Poker run with a Miami vice 38KV scarab. Makes me want summer back in the worst way.

It was cool back in the day. You know, when white suits with t-shirts were in style.

I'd still love to have one, I always like the old school shit.

That was one of my parents friends, they were both members at the same boat club (Detroit Beach in Monroe), unless there is another boat identical to that in Michigan. It was definitely a cool boat back in the day, he had a radio controlled boat that was an exact replica...probably 6' long with a weed whacker motor...that damn thing was fast as hell too.

04PSD did they travel to the west side for poker runs? and yes i remember the radar arches but its more the placement of that one that is ugly. a little further back would have helped. at least its not like a sonic where its a reverse arch

Stan, If you get the strippers I guess we could have alot of fun on one of the ORIGINAL boats. I think little black midget strippers would be the cat's ass and so much fun to watch dance on the arch

Pictures were taken today

Wasn't the worlds fastest "V" of the time actually a Larry Smith design? I know they shared hulls, but Wellcraft's have always been rather heavy.

You could order the Miami Vice package on any hull then. They even had a Don Johnson Signature edition boat with twin Lambo motors.

Scarab flat decks bring the sexy.
