Default Does anyone know a tire shop in the Metro Detroit area that will install a tube

Hoping for a little help. I have a truck that we use for hauling landscape supplies that has good E rated tires. One has a nail hole in right where the sidewall meets the tread. Bell Tire and Discount just want to sell me new tires. Does anyone know a shop around that still installs tubes. Any help is appreciated. I just do not want to throw away a $200 tire for this little damage. Thanks..Glenn

Most places will not install a tube either. The concern is with damage to the area where the side wall and tread belts come together. Putting a tube in the tire will not relieve any of the stress on that area.

With that being said, I would probably repair it myself without issue but from a business standpoint, it's a liability.

Default tire

no its a 16 inch tire from the truck, I just haul dirt and junk for around my house. Is that the discount on Ford Rd? If so, who should I ask for?
