Default Whats it worth

I have a TREK 1000 road bike, anyone know what they are worth on the used market?? it belonged to my uncle who passed and i ended up with it, and ive been tripping over it for almost 2 years now, dont really want to sell it but i will never use it pic-V

It really depends on the condition of the bike how old it is, and what components it has. Post up some pics and we will be able to help you better.

will have to get some pics up in the am, its in very good condition but all stock as far as i know, its probably a 91 or 92 if i had to guess based on photos found on the web

Used bikes don't hold their value for long. I've seen two and three year old $5k mountain bikes for around 1k. Older than that, and there isn't much market for them as tech changes.

I would bet road bikes are fairly similar.

unfortunatly you are looking at 10-20% of original puchase price for something that old.
a few years back I sold a $3,000 1994 cannondale mountain bike for $400
sucks but the new $700 bikes were better bikes.
