Default 1969 pontiac Firebird (gone)

1969 pontiac Firebird
I know not a 4x4 and it is on a 4x4 website......but is Anyone interested in my 1969 firebird? i found a first gen camaro i want, and the wife said i have to sell one first so here goes...

1969 pontiac firebird very original, numbers matching (original color brown w/vinyl top)
rebuilt pontiac 350 v8 with 2 bl carb with around 30K miles on it
rebuilt 3 speed auto with around 30K miles on it

runs and drives good

New tires, reconditioned pontiac wheels
nice center console, with floor shifter
nice dash with original stereo, not cut up like most

this car sat inside a garage for the last several years, somewhere between 8 and 10 years, previous owner has 13 f-bodies ranging from 1967 to 1981. Previous owner began the restoration but never finished the car and i bought it half finished and sent it off to the bodyshop.

the car is now very solid, i just put 5500 into bodywork and paint(with receipts) it just had new quarters, trunk drop off panels, the doors and fenders are originals and were worked some, floor pans and trunk pan were patched in a couple spots

Paint is base/clear and is beautiful, it is a very good job

car is complete, but emblems and chrome are not back on the car yet as the pics show

car needs:
interior redone in black (car has original beige or gold interior in fair shape)
Brake work(no fluid in master cylinder for rear brakes, no idea why, i planned a 4 wheel disc conversion)
Chrome and exterior trim put back on
gas tank flushed of old gas

car also comes with several boxes of new parts
window felts, weatherstripping, carpet, and more

like all these old cars pics dont do them justice or show there true condition I encourage anyone interested come take a look at it

no trades
8000 or best.......car will be taken off market if the other car i want is sold first

Do you have the parts to complete? (understanding the interior is the wrong color)

depending on how nice you want the car, i was building a car i could drive and not have 30,000 into, so for a driver quality car i have most of all chrome, tailights, trim, rear bumper, and so on... a couple peices here an there should be replaced, were broken when taken off, or were in bad shape but that is very few........ you would also have to buy the interior stuff,(door panels, headliner, dash pad, seat upholstrey maybe $1000 total) and whatever it would need to fix the brakes, a brakes line, or wheel cylinder whatever is causing the leak

this car finished to a driver quality is easily worth 14 to 15,000... The car would probally take only $2000 or less to finish

truthfully i kind of hope no one buys it

Good for you!

BTW, IMHO - I know it isn't "correct" but your latest picture - that brown interior looks AWESOME in that blue. Had I convinced my wife, I think I'd keep it - kind of a "modern" color scheme w/o changing the feel of the interior.

Hot. That would be an awesome car to drop a few inches, go discs all the way around, poly bushings, swaybars and some decent rubber on 17" wheels.

I'm making myself drool, lol. Anyway, HOT car!

x2 on the interior.

I wouldn't have bothered changing it. I think it looks fine.
