Yep, Chrysler is struggling. Been through it before too. Don't count them out quite yet though.

Besides, I need to work some more before I can comfortably retire......or hit the Lotto.

Do the new Dodges wander like the old ones? We have 2 1999 2500's at work. They have about 150K on them. At 45 they take up a lane and a half.

11+years old with 150k (likely hard work miles) and they need some basic maintenance to the tie rods? What pieces of shit... *sarcasm*

I worked for GM and refused to buy one and was told to park my Jeep in the corner. So, I did this when they first started bugging me about it.

Then, I was asked to NOT park in the corner.
That was back when my TJ was new and shiny.
While at Powertrain I had liquor bottles tucked in my frame, under my tires, etc. Once the guys found out it was me, a 5'1" female and then it all stopped.

Exactly, reddevil, your driving a jeep, working for GM, yet complaining that if someone else doesn't buy a GM is rather hypocritical.

Ummm, this is after tie rods, bushings, ball joints, and bearings. The (3) 2003 F250's are over 200k with none of the stuff replaced. Oh, by the way the Dodges are on their 3rd and 4th transmissions. They are so nice that they only get driven when there is nothing else around that runs.

Probably the steering box itself, my buddies '99 Ram was wandering and the box was shit with 150k on the ticker. Cheap fix if you shop around for it. I think he got his for under $200.

That's funny but the Parking lot on Joslyn at powertrain has a decent collection of vehicles I still feel retarded driving my Honda there if I am meeting my dad.

if I worked directly for a supplier or one of the big three I would feel like it would be in my own job security to attempt to drive one of the vehicles I was supplying parts for, or at the very least the company I was building parts for.

If I worked for an OEM I would feel like a total failure if I didn't at least drive the vehicle for the company I worked for.

I think it's funny when people have a double standard like that. It's all over the place here.
