Default Borgeson steering shaft

My buddy has a '73 Ramcharger that he just lifted and is getting a little bit of play now in the steering. He wants to get a Borgeson shaft but they only list them from '79 and up. Does anyone here have one on their pre '79 RC or know if a '79 shaft will work on his '73?
Thanks

Page 22 of the Borgeson catalog says they make a 2-joint Dodge application down to 1973 (it eliminates the rag joint). I suggest you go to the site, download a copy of the catalog, and them directly. If you don't want a 2-joint, you may only need to tell them what kind of lower joint you have.

Its a 78 RC. They have 3 different splines on the steering box. I think its best I get a re-man box while I'm at it.

Is their a specific year steering box that is superior that I should use?
