XJ 2 door cage

Here is a cage I did for a buddy, I realize there is not triangulation, but this is what he wanted.

I like it!

Though, I just noticed the back, and I don't like the design of the rear upper "hoop" - in a rollover, it is going to put all the stress on the welds instead of on the structure.

(that is assuming you can even roll that hard to generate the force to crush the roof AND cage...)

Still - I'm sure I'm over-analyzing - that is a pretty sharp looking cage.

Looks decent, and I figure like scoots said, combined with the roof and cage it should protect the occupants in most situations

Thanks guys.........I thought about that as well, however this particular XJ is basically a throw away wheeler and when the body is gone it is going into another XJ at which point that will be addressed with a couple down bars to attach to a rear cross bar.
