Default Chicago hotel hookup

So anybody know of or have a hookup to get a good deal on a hotel in chicago? I'm getting married there on the 12 of august and am trying to find rooms for my family. Here's what I've been trying to find, decent place near downtown for under 150 avg a night. Any ideas/suggestions? I've spent many frustating hours on a bunch of the "cheap ticket" places but its hard when I need 1 room for 4 days, 1 room for 2 days and 4-5 rooms for one day.

Also anybody here stayed at the Cass hotel on wabash in chicago, so far they're the one on top. Thanks for any help.

Something else anyone on here ordained and live in chicago? Damn officiants get 500+ for a 10-15 minute ceremony, down there.

I thought you were looking to hookup in a hotel in chicago. I was going to suggest adultfriendfinder, or craigslist maybe.

Anyway, good luck. we were just there, and got a room downtown for $225, and that was cheap for July. And we booked it 6 weeks ahead of time, and saved almost $100 that way.

So, $150 isn't going to work.

Her parents live in chicago its where she grew up. Her parents house is where her father grew up also (he's 74) so theres lots of history in the house. Well since here parents are getting older they can't keep up with the house so they bought a condo. The wedding is taking place at the house as a last party there, she's the youngest and the last to marry so its kinda a fitting end. I personally don't have any desire to get married down there, but am just along for the ride.

I used one of those websites that don't tell you the name of the hotel until you pay to reserve the room online, I stayed at the Ambassador hotel on the Michigan Mile for $84/night, BUT the catch is you only know the location on the strip via a mapquest map to see if thats where you want to stay.

it was something like orbitz... only it wasnt orbitz, I can't remember which one i used...

I had gotten a decent price at one of those also, but the nameless thing bugged me, thanks I'll have to check into that again. As far as the price I've found 4-5 in the 100-150 range that seemed decent, but didn't have a pool or stuff like that and parking was a extra 20-30 a 24hrs.

Default Congress Hotel

I stayed at the Congress Hotel arcoss from the fountion. There wasnt a pool. It was an older hotel but very nice and Im pretty sure it was under 150 a night. Great view of the fountion and fire works if you get a waterfront view room. Good Luck and congrats!!
