Default Free - Full Size Roof Rack for XJ

I'd like to design an overhead rack for the XJ... one problem, I sold my XJ earlier this year which makes it difficult for me to design the part.

I am willing to give away a full-sized rack for a 1997-2001 Jeep XJ to the first person that replies to this thread that is able to meet the following criteria. Alternatively, I am willing to give away one standard front or rear bumper for XJ, YJ, or TJ (No winch bumpers or swingout tire carriers) if you would rather have a bumper:

- Must be 1997-2001
- Jeep must be straight, I won't design the part to fit an XJ that has roof damage
- Must be willing to drop off the Jeep in Midland for two business days.
- Design will include spare tire carrier, high-lift jack holder, and light bar
- Will be made from 7/8 O.D. tubing bent with mandrel tubing bender
- The rack will be my design only, given to you in bare steel, ready for paint.
- Must be able to confirm whether rack fits older XJ's or not.

Please get ahold of me through PM.

Rain Gutters. I'm not a big fan of the factory roof rack.

I have one guy that PM'ed already, if it falls through I'll let you know.

I've got a good start on the roof racks for Jeep XJ. Here are the features:

- Modular - Three bolt-together sections. Eliminate the middle section for a shorter rack (48 x 72 or 48 x 48). Also allows for regular ground shipping to anywhere in the U.S.
- 7/8" O.D. Tubing
- Finished product will have 3 universal mounting plates on each side for accessories:
- Light Tabs
- Jack Holders
- Shovel / Axe Holders
- Moveable tire-mounting plate
- Rain gutter mounts are moveable, if you have a bad section on your rain gutter you are able to move the bracket.

Let me know what you guys think, feel free to post any comments or suggestions.

No idea yet, but it will definitely be competitively priced, and all accessories will be priced separately.
