Default Rochell Craft

Tell me where I can find a 1978 Rochell Craft jet boat. My dad had one when I was a kid and he really loved it. I'm considering buying one and making it a restoration project.

I'm coming up dry online, either that or I just don't know where to look.

Please tell me that your uncle has one of these taking up room in his back yard that he wants to sell to me for a song.

your certainly welcome. Not much info on these out there. Curious to know what they look like.

Did you ever see the one that used to be parked on williams lake rd? it was at a house around the area where they reworked that rd before 59. It was brown, sat there forever around 5 or so years ago I think. Neat little boat

It's a pretty sweet boat. It's a jet boat with a bow rider. They have a 460 out of a lincoln in them. My dad loved it because he could pull 3 skiers behind it, put 2 families on it, go fast and hang out at the sand bar all with one boat. That and it made for a lot of excitement when it would catch fire--it had some sort of fuel delivery problem that he spent an entire summer getting to the bottom of...one fire at a time!

This is pretty much the only picture of one on the internet:

Ours was a metallic fleck green.

thats a pretty sweet boat, did he buy it on points?

There is a youtube vid out there I found, thing sounds wicked. Sounds like your dad had the same issue with his boat my dad has with his current boat, a giant money/time pit.

I wish you luck in finding one though, not much info on these out there according to google.

is there a difference between Rochell Craft and Rochelle?

LOL, we had that boat a little before my dad started living a life of points. If he could find one today that was purchasable using points, I am sure he would! This is the first year in a long time that I got something OTHER than points for Christmas. I needed Jeep parts.

I saw the youtube video too, those people are from Michigan judging by the plate on the trailer. I wouldn't be totally shocked if that is our old boat, restored. Ours was the same color in that video.

I think the only difference is the spelling, problem is that I don't know which one is correct.

I think Rochelle is the proper spelling. That or the guy who is friends with Joel Rochelle's (guy who built these) son, has no clue how to spell his firends name.

Also your dad bought your parts on points.

so you won't let your future husband have a snow machine because you want to buy a 35 year old money pit that will never be finished?

We bought 3 sleds and a trailer over the weekend. Can we store them at your place?
