if you look at the shocks at the end there's no tab or anything on the shock eye.. Im guessing they used an inferior bolt and the bolt itself snapped..

Agreed. Think of the bolts that go in a leaf spring shackle. Not much bigger than that if at all.

that just made my morning... humm could this be why more full size trucks on 52's dont have just coil overs... I agree the paint job is sweet the rest is a big miss

Yea Whiterhino and I crawled all around this thing at SEMA in 08 but we didn't pay much attention to the shock mounting apparently. It did look good sitting on the show floor though!
