Default 4x4 newbie

Hey guys! Just bought a 74 K10. Its my very first 4x4. Ive always loved the 73-87 chevy trucks and currently have a 78 C10 drag truck. Not looking to do any mudding or anything. I bought the k just for a year round daily driver. This looks to be a great site for me to cut my 4x4 teeth on!

cool. well if you "just bought it" and its that old. hope you check all the fluids and upgrade just a bit with exhaust and all the goodies today brings. there aint nothing like stalling out in the middle of traffic with all those eyes looking at you. but 4x4's are hella cool. have fun!

Thanks for all the welcomes! Yes the truck will be gone through from top to bottom. I am no rookie when it comes to cars/trucks. Ive just never messed with the 4wd stuff. But i plan on changing all the fluids and brakes. Going to rebuild the engine cuz it knocks a bit and puffs a bit more. Have some minor rust to repair on the floorpans. All in a days work though. Probably going to put some 33 or 34 10.5's on it depending upon what gears it has.
