I use Vandykes Engine Repair in Fremont. Would be a bit of a drive from Belmont, but he does awesome work.

x2 on SMRE in Muskegon. CJ at SMRE has built 2 motors for me with great results, and they have newer machining equipment. Give him a call 231-767-0483, tell him Terry told you to call.

G&G Automotive Machine - Gary Garevlink - (616)772-6688

Has an elite reputation among hot rodders in West Michigan. He's on the south side of Holland and he won't be the cheapest, but he is awesome.

Performance is good, but pricey. I just had an engine done at More Power in Sparta and they were priced fair and do great work. A family friend has had several engines built there including the 355 in his Impala and the 502 in his 55 Chevy
