Default Poor People

So I was walking around in town today, and as I came to my house, I saw an older man stopped in front of the alley to behind my house. I was kinda curious, so I stopped and talk to him. He came around the corner and his car just died after he heard a loud bang. I helped him push it into the parking lot out of the way, and it seemed to be functioning fine but it wouldn't start.

I told him to check the fuel shutoff in the rear of the vehicle, and that was the problem. The loud bang was *I THINK* the lower rear lower control arm gave out, and was just hanging there with the e-brake cable tied to it. I highly recommended that he NOT drive it home, as he would be driving it about 40 miles home, and he refused. He said he can't afford to get it fixed, so he has to take his chances.

Now, maybe it's just me, but if someone told me that due to the nature of what just happened to my car, I could KILL myself, or someone else, I would do my damndest to find a way home, whether it be a friend, family member, or anything. He did thank me as he drove away. Now that I think about it, I probably should have left the switch off, so he COULDN'T drive it.

end rant.

Actually not at the moment, and if it were a problem that could potentially kill myself or others, I definitely would not drive it. You on the other hand, sell cars with known problems. Did you sell him his? I recall a post from you before saying something about you were just gonna fill up a jeep with oil, and get it out of your possession.

sure did and gave it to the dealership after i told them every known problem. i made $700 off that pos tj after trading my xj for it. Not sure if the dealership did anything about the blown head gasket, blown piston rings, bald tires, oil leaks, weak tranny, or coolant leak but hey what the hell they gave me 3700 for it.
