Default New to the 4x4 scene

Hey All!

I am fairly new to the whole 4x4 lifestyle. I have some friends who introduced me and my family to Silver Lake last year and its been a great learning process since. I ran out and bought a Bronco (because I work for the blue oval). After working on it for a bit, I came to the realization that with two little girls (and all the stuff that comes with them), a Cherokee would be a wiser choice. So just this past weekend, we welcomed a well used but hardly used up ZJ home. Its a limited with a 5.2, solid, clean interior, and everything works. Plans include a 4" lift and I already have a set of Ruby wheels and 31's waiting for it.

Anyways, thats the beginning to this whole story, and thanks to those who have tried to steer me in the right direction. I listen to all and make my own decision from there so any and all input is greatly appreciated!

Hope to be around here quite a bit!

Hey to the Brighton Contingent! Sometime we'll all have to get together, share stories, and have a beer. Thanks to all for the warm welcome.

Thanks for the welcome guys. Its nice to see a site where even a newbie is welcome. I may end up asking some pretty dumb ass questions as this whole thing is new to me. I have road raced for the past 20 years with the SCCA and Waterford Hills Road Racing, but this seems to be even a bit more family friendly and even get them involved.

Thanks again guys.
