Default MP3 players

Looking to get a new one as my old doesn't have the capacity for all the music I have amassed over the years since I got it.

Current is a 4 gig, and I'm looking for something in the 8-10 gig region. But kinda budgeted at the same time.

Whats your experience with makes and models and who's got the best operating system?

Also, eff Apple. I wont get an Ipod

thanks!

I got a zune 30 in October 2007 for 79$ from woot. I gave it to my wife this year around that same time and ordered a zune 80 for 139$ on Amazon. I've been very happy with them. If you ever listen to podcasts or plan to listen to them, you're better off with an mp3 player that has a built in podcast down-loader in the software.

I have a 4 gig sansa fuze and love it. I use it in the jeep all the time.
If you wanted to, you could buy a 4 gig since theyre generally cheaper and get a Micro sd card to expand it. I think the maximum memory you can go up to is 32gb, including internal memory.

Buying inferior products is always a better idea.
Seriously.
I learned this the day I traded in my Escalade for a foreign vehicle.
I mean, why enjoy driving your vehicle when I can support the US automakers?

Here was how I looked at it. I could spend 40 dollars on a mp3 player to listen to while welding or 250 dollars on a mp3 player I am just going to burn up. I enjoy driving my domestic truck, especially since I cannot get a equivalent vehicle from a foreign maker.

Didn't I read that you did not like your domestic truck?

I loved my caddy. I especially loved the squeeks and rattles that it was plagued with.

No, I love that truck. It has a TON of great features, it goes fast and drives great. I just turn up the bose stereo so I cannot hear the squeaks and rattles. It just pisses me off that we can make a truck with that many great features but cannot build them worth a shit. 90% of the issues were simple QC that the union turds flunked on. Assembled in Pontiac my ass...

The union does not build trucks, nor do they do QC.
GM/Ford/Etc... build them.

The Union only represents the woking man to ensure that their best interests are being met
