Small update: Hard to get anything done when you only get a day a month to work on it. I should change this to the slowest YJ build, but seeing it as a roller keeps me motivated to keep going.

To do:

Bigger air filter!

I got my stuff from www.mandrel-bends.com by far the cheapest and quality components.

Looks good!

Very nice. The air filter does look a little small.

What vehicle is all of the motor cover stuff from? Neither of my 3rd gen motors came with much, my 99 5.3 just has the intake cover.

The covers came with the motor which is out of a Caddy.

The air filter is only temporary until I can duct one where I want, as I said there is still allot of work but going from a broke down yj to a hacked up frame to where it sits now...I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. The main thing was to make it to Dog Party, it still needs a winch, skid plate, cage tied into the frame, lower links swapped out for 2 1/4 aluminum with 1 1/4 hiems, rear shocks tuned. Plus all the stuff that I haven't found yet that comes with driving it, the bugs so to speak.
