I suggest parking your bike on the first day and walking, Far to many distractions if you have never been there. The wife and I spent New years in the keys. Many girls walking around in nothing but body makeup

And be sure if you find a lady that you fancy........Make SURE She's not a He unless you are into that kind of thing.

Ive been down there 4 times for scuba diving and sailing. Bahia honda state park is nice to spend time at, try to go snorkling. When you hit Key West welcome to tourist central. Duval street is the main strip, if you start taking detours from Duval you'll find alot of interesting sights (Bobs leather & S&M shop ). The sunset festival is nice to watch, ie street performers and the such.

The keys are a rather large place.
Like over 120 miles.

Do you know specifically where you will be?

Lorelei Bar (Big Mermaid at MM 82 Bayside). Great little locals bar with live Keys music at night. If Case and Davidson are playing, look for my Uncle who has been known to join them for a few songs.

Hogs Breath Saloon in Key West. You can even call your friends while you are there, then flip them off on the live webcams.

Watch out for Key deer as you get down towards Key West. About the size of Dogs but very highly protected.

Be careful riding thru Miami, lots of stupid drivers there who make Detroit drivers look good.

Google fantasy fest for a taste of Key West.

I was in Key West in April 06 but nothing fun was going on.

Hit up Haulover beach in north Miami for interesting time as well.

If you like chicken, just snatch them off the street and fry them up.

My family has been going down to the Keys every winter since the 1960s. I've been there 25+ times... it's a fun place. Bars and restaurants are cool.

I recommend trying to Shrimp Bisque at the 7 Mile Grill (as you're going out of Marathon, just before the 7 Mile Bridge, it'll be on your right if you're heading South). If you aren't bringing a boat down, go on a charter fishing trip. You will have a blast. My grandpa is a commercial fisherman near Big Pine Key.

Which area are you going to? As previously stated, they're a couple hundred miles long...

x2, they really start at big pine key and lower from what I remember. They have a "Deaths so far this year" sign. They hang out at mile marker 38 and below.

We are looking to go to the keys for our honeymoon. Any tips on "nice" places to stay?
