Mass special election today. Preview of the next election?

Dem's have held Mass for 36 years, this will be huge if they lose that seat...

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epo...tion-1144.html

Before obamacare was forced upon the nation who doesn't want it, Cokley had a 30 point lead... Now Brown is up 9 points.. It will be very very interesting to see how the media handles this if Brown wins.

Kelly

The media all ready think's it is a "crisis" that she might loose.

Not making this up, last night on glen beck they were talking about mnsbc on sunday, they compared the election that is today to the tragedy in haiti. Saying something along the lines that if a democrat doesnt win, that the country(the united states), will have its own tragedy and be i major trouble

Amazing how the news stations can say this stuff

Totally!

Now, the question I have is this: If the majority of his state still supports Government Health care (Remember this is Hypothetical) wouldn't it still be his Responsibility to push for health care? If it is, and he doesn't, the system would still be failing even though it means an outcome in our (people against health care, AKA: most of us) favor. So would that make us happy that the system failed in this instance but not in another?

more importantly if Obama was such a great leader he wouldn't be wasting time trying to get another dem elected. look at him, he is like a crying child realizing that if a rep wins it shows that people are truly in control

Even if Brown wins, I'm sure the Libs have plenty of lawyers on speed dial so they can start the months long process of legal action and recounts with the end result of Coakley winning by a large margin. The Gore people started that, without success back in 2000, and Franken perfected it in '08.

I would have to think that if the majority of his state wants the healthcare bill they wouldnt vote in a guy who has vowed to vote against it

Dems may outnumber Reps 3 - 1 in Massachusetts but, but Independent (or unenrolled as they are referred to there in The Bay State) outnumber everybody!

Democrats: 1,559,464 36.95%
Republicans: 490,259 11.62%
Unenrolled: 2,141,878 50.75%

There's my useless fact for the day.
