Shit. You're out of luck.

From now on, when you buy something for your vehicle with a warranty, put it in an envelope in your glovebox BEFORE you leave the parking lot.

That's what I always do. I have every receipt in an envelope from petty stuff to the big parts.

They are supposed to log everything just make a scene when its crowded, it worked for me! When they switched over from Murray's a lot of their files were lost.

Coming from a Parts Guy that has worked there(now work at a lot better parts store), Go in and make a scene, don't be an asshole, don't swear or call the manager names, but make a scene, and they will probably take care of it. Make sure you tell them you were told you were being put in the warranty system. If this does not work get a hold of the district manager and tell him the story, keep bugging him and he will probably give in, they have better stuff to do then deal with a customer over $200. BTW what brand was it, kind of weird for one to go bad after 4 months.

My brother was flat out told that When Orielly's took over from Murry's the warranty's we're lost. They deleted the system.... He got screwed on 2 unit bearings with lifetime warranty's. And he even call the district manager..

Default Not A Thought on the store but the INSTALLATION

on the unit bearings they are supposed to tell you the TORQUE spec for the axle nut if you over-torque it it will goe bad very fast, i learned from experience, the counter guy was very polite about this to me AFTER i had to get a second one. he let me use my warranty,so i was glad but since then i have replaced 3 more in other vehicles with no DEFECTIVES.

didnt know if you knew that, they should honor it though!!

That was my thought, We sell BCA and A cheapo brand, as long as you torque it either one lasts a long time.

My sister put the Autozone 3 month warranty unit bearings on a Cavalier, they were bad BEFORE the 4 month mark, but after the 3 month mark. They were installed at a reputable mechanic as well, she took them the parts.

Well she took him the parts. that was her first mistake. This way he can get paid a second time for installing another set. Most mechanics do not care to have the customer bring there own parts.

The mechanic was also her husband [it is also his career]. I wouldn't hesitate to have him work on anything I own.
