Default Mac movie help

Ok so who can dummy me down here on how to copy DVD's onto my hard drive to play back later? I hate getting DVD's ad they become scratched plus its so much easier having them all on the hard drive for the home theater? it doesn't seem to be as simple as click, drag and drop

Its called Ripping. You can google how to backup DVD's or Rip DVD's. I don't know how to do it on my mac. I use my Windows machine to rip dvd's. I've heard HandBreak is a good one for Mac.

I also use Handbrake on my Mac. It's pretty idiot-proof (which is good for me.)
