My desk top had a virus so I did a whole computer scan that identified a couple viruses. After the scan my computer had to restart. Now as son as I log on a second later it logs me off.

My parent's PC did the same thing. If you've got the same problem they do, they wound up having to re-install Windows completely. Safe mode wouldn't work - It immediately logs you out when you log in, no matter what. Couldn't ever find out why.

no he means right when the computer boots and it says F1 for help or something else for setup, press F7 and it'll take you to the "safe mode" screen. try starting windows in safe mode.

Logs on as in..it gets to where you choose what user you want to be under? If so pop your windows disc in and restart it, will give you the option to run the disc while the computer is booting up. I want to say it says press f5? and it will boot the windows disc, there you can delete EVERYTHING off your harddrive reformat and start anew.
