So from what I see, this place will probably be shut down soon because of someone killing them self or seriously injuring them self. Is this a normal occurrence out there?

Dude relax. It was in a area blocked off and not much chance of anything bad happening. No one was in the car.

Got ya. I just thought it might be someone being a complete moron and ruining one of the very few areas that we have left to legally wheel.

LOL I know it kinda looks that way when I watch the video, maybe I should have taped a little more of the set up and not just the jump.

So, what if it landed on its wheels with the throttle tied open?
What would have stopped it from running the crowd over?

They guy bought it for Scrap. So even with it like that it is still worth the same. If it would of landed on its wheels and been able to keep going, there was nothing in it way. But it was pretty much dead by the time it got to go off the hill.

Here's a little Pre-Jump footage. The car was pretty much trashed by the time it was jumped. We had to tow it into place. I think the only reason it was able to make the jump was because it was going downhill. Then we rigged the steering to go straight, started the car and pulled the battery. Thanks to Charlie and his crew for bringing the car today, and for letting us smash it up further with the loader afterwards.
