Default Albright Shores

It looks like Albright Shores is finally tanking. Word is that the property is in foreclosure.

What are your thoughts on the place?

It was a fun place ten years ago but arrogance of those in charge chased all of the competitors away.

I went a few years back and had fun. I never heard of anything like you described so I'm a bit surprised but more disappointed to hear they are folding. I know most people on here think mud bogging is dumb but they had some rigs with serious horsepower there and it was entertaining to watch

Raced sand drags there for 3 years and they had some nice high power machines running. Treatment of the racers was an issue. I seen a few others get away with some things that shouldn't have. I broke my quad and raced my stock s-10 4x4 in the stock class against a YJ with a I-6 stroker in the stock class? Yeah, I lost but of course not by too much since he lifted at about 3/4 track. A friend knew the owner of the Jeep and knew the motor mods. Gate fee + racers fee + fuel + treatment = Me not racing anymore.

The place has huge potential. Too bad the arrogance of a few have destroyed it for the many.

I have a couple trophy mugs from there from ~10 years ago. Sand drag and obstacle course.
