Default Heard a knock in the rear suspension

I started hearing a noise 3 days ago while driving around, it was weird because the rear felt a little loose too. I finally had time to check it out during the day to see what was causing it, the culprit...

I have had those bilstein 5150's back there for at least 4 years now. It is still a good shock tho, its not leaking, the shaft is not bent and it is still holding the nitro. Im not sure why the stud broke off like it did, I know that jam nut was tight on there. I am going to try to remove the broken piece from the shock and see if I can weld a new stud to the bushing or see if someone sells a replacement I can use.
