Default Link ends with bushing

I have some link ends i made for a project that went another route. They are 2 1/2" x 3/8" wall D.O.M. machined to fit a rubber bushing. The bushing is 2 1/2" wide that takes a 5/8" bolt. I am asking for $30 a piece plus shipping. I can also sell 8 for $200 plus ship. I am located in Swanton, OH.

This is true, but the poly joints do not allow rotational flex. The rubber in mine do. Also, I have ran both poly and rubber. The rubber lasted a lot longer.

I doubt that.

I've never seen rubber outlast poly. Thats the whole reason for upgrading to poly on all your drivetrain mounts. Yes poly will not flex like the rubber does, but there a reason poly was invented. If i could get these for a deal, dont get me wrong i would run them. How tight are the bushings in the dom? Is it a press fit?

I had a set of long arms on a d/d xj with poly and they lasted about 2 years. Granted I did not grease them on a regular basis. Now I have another d/d xj with these rubber ones. Been running them for about 3 years now and they are still good. Don't get me wrong I would run poly on a sports car, that I wanted a nice firm feeling ride. In a modified 4x4, I don't want that, I want it to ride smooth and work well offroad. I think poly was invented for that reason, firmness. Think about it. If poly was so much better, why don't vehicles come them from the factory. They are cheaper. Just my opinion.

Also, the DOM is about .005" smaller. So, yes the bushings are press fit.
