This event is conceptual, obviously. But the means have been put at my disposal .I'm sure alot of you know more than I do about 4x4 racing. I was looking to do a B monster truck event but these are usually just shows and seeing real heads up racing with possibility for contact, i believe will have much more appeal to participants and spectators alike. They may still come at the end of march or april and if i get this together first, we may have the inaugural event for the dome. This will do alot for the sport locally.

Heighth will be the deciding factor for mixing vehicles. A smaller truck will manuever the course easier as it is a tight U shape making up for lack of power and suspension. Also, as in previous 4 x 4 races which have supported the monsters, there will be a small (2.5 or so foot high) dirt ramp to ramp on the first straight away and if I only separate these by 4 feet the longer truck will have to clear by further. The tight turn will also be made easier by the smaller truck. I can't have the littler guy run over though. I have a Truck guy working on these requirements for me now. So my initial response will be yes the 350 can run but there will be height limitations which may yet limit your ability to participate.

If someone feels they can help, understanding the concept, please help.
I had a contact about adding an element of sand draggin to the mix. This event may be contained within the event.

The single largest flaw in your plan is the encouraged contact.

I have a large investment into a vehicle I am building to compete with but I'm not going to put it against someone who has a $500 beater with the sole purpose of tearing my shit up.

Look up the xrra series and also the rupp arena or something like that, there was an arena series that did what you talk of doing, minus the contact.

With some adjustment, I think you will have a great venue.

instead of this hairbrained idea with racers with exhaust tubing roll bars forcing contact why not come up with a good idea.

you say you don't plan to fill the dome. you aren't going to get it 1/8 full for such a specialized event.

why don't you and daddy warbucks organize an event that wheelers in this area can get behind. the dome is big enough to set up some courses for beginner, intermediate and advanced wheelers. some mud, rocks, ruts, obstacles etc. get people to enter with a small fee and create classes. base the winners on the best time. with something like this many local wheelers would be interested in entering for all classes. furthermore you would get not only the entrants, but I am sure their families would attend and more people in general would show up to view. back this with some wheeling based prizes for winners from off road companies who could also set up vending booths and there you go. a plan that works.
