It would work with the 5.56 first gear not the 6.34 gear I haven't been able to find one for the 6.34 first gear. If you know of someone that makes one let me know.

Actually V2WIN is right. The early GM NV4500 has a different bellhousing to trans bolt pattern than the 95-later 5.6 geared common chevy/dodge NV4500.

The only way you could mate a 92-94 GM NV4500 to a cummins is by using the very rare and expensive 3.9 Bread truck adapter. Even then the trans sits off to an angle and the slave cylinder may not clear the adapter.

Unfortunatley nobody makes any adapter bellhousings for the 92-94 GM NV4500. You are stuck with the factory stuff. I've got two of the early trans setups and wanted to mate one to my cummins. I just ended up buying a 98 Dodge NV4500 setup instead.

If you wanted the low gear behind a cummins, you would need to take the guts from this transmission and swap it into a 95 and newer case. Even then, I'm not 100% sure if this is easy or not. I do know that several NV4500 builders will do this, so it is possible.
